Our History

Thomas More School was established in 1978 to provide children of Catholic families with a thorough education founded upon traditional principles. Originally known as Saint Thomas Aquinas School, the school has been dedicated to inspiring and guiding children in the true purpose of education.

In 2004, the school moved to its current location at 1565 South White Road in San Jose, marking a new chapter in the school's history. At this time, the school also adopted its current name, Thomas More School, honoring the patron saint known for his unwavering faith and commitment to truth.

Today, Thomas More School continues its mission to lead students to union with God as their last end, forming them into true Catholics who love and serve God in every aspect of their lives.
